Deposits and Payments

Most packages only require a minimum deposit with final payment, usually due 45 days prior to departure. We offer payment plans should you need one. Airlines dictate the rules for the payment of airline tickets. Some, but not all, packages require full payment on the air within 24 hours of making the reservation.

We frequently hear “this is my honeymoon and I will never cancel”.

There are circumstances that could cause you to change your trip, delay your return or require you to return home early.

Honeymoon packages should include travel insurance to protect your travel investment. You can change your travel dates or cancel with a full refund (minus the cost of insurance) at any time prior to departure for any reason.

Once you start traveling the insurance will cover you for unavoidable events that cause you to return home early or extend your stay.

The most common reasons to change or cancel or change a trip:

Winter storms or hurricanes may disrupt flights.
A family member cannot attend and the date needs to be changed.
Illness or death in the family.
Accident or injury that requires an early return home.

Consider Departure and Arrival Travel Times

If you have only one week for your honeymoon select an island that offers the best flight times. Some departure cities require long travel times and you want to arrive in Hawaii mid-afternoon. If you have no early arrival options for the island you want to visit we can help you select the easiest destination for late arrival flights.

Airline fares play a significant role when planning your budget. If you are a frequent flier, save your mileage and try to use your accumulated mile points.

It takes a lot of points for flights to Hawaii but if you have some points you may be able to use them for interisland flights or cars. Friends or family who can contribute mileage points to your honeymoon.

Departure Date

If your wedding is on a Saturday, you may want to travel on Monday. When traveling to the Hawaiian Islands most flights leave in the morning. Flights from the east coast will stop somewhere. If you are traveling in the winter select a flight that stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or in the southwest.
